A century and a quarter after Tom Peever platted the townsite, the only town on Earth with the name marks the occasion. Everything is free. Bring a lawn chair.

Honored Saturday at half past one. Al is the husband of Char Jarman, the town’s historian and pie lady, who died in 2018. Saturday’s pie and ice cream is served in her honor.

Entry fees come back as prizes

Entry fees for bingo, horseshoes and the cornhole tournament are returned as prizes. Registration for horseshoes and cornhole opens at noon.

About the town

A Roberts County town of about 150 people, 27 miles northwest of Milbank. Platted in 1900 by Tom Peever, Harry Spackman and N. H. Miller, and incorporated in 1901.

Come prepared

Bring a lawn chair. Food vendors park around town from noon. Everything is free and open to all.
