This business was once located on Main Street on the corner where Mandis Renville's house now stands. In 1926 Oscar Hegna bought it from Gil Wenzel. He sold gas, repaired cars and had the Whippet car agency. His mechanic was Art Carlson. Some of the tire advertisements and an old Whippet sign are now in Allen Jarman's shop down town Peever. In 1941 Oscar sold the garage to a man by the name of Greeno. This information is from his daughter Joyce Hanson of Peever. |
