This book was put together and published in 1976, the year of our nation's bicentennial and Peever's Diamond Jubilee, or 75th anniversary. The women who did the research and editing were Phyllis Karst, Margarete Hunter and the late Myrtle Nebbin. The logo on the top of the cover depicts the diamond design pin that was worn for that celebration. It is full of interesting news items taken from the original Peever Pilot that was our town's weekly newspaper until 1918. It has information about the churches and businesses and interviews with pioneers and many photos. The price of Stories about Our Town of Peever is $5.00 which will include the cost of mailing.
