Pictured above is one of the issues of the Peever Pilot 2001. We still have some of each for sale if you would like them. In August of 1998 a staff made up of Peever Community Club members agreed to publish a monthly newsletter to promote the centennial. The first issue came out in September, 1998. There were 29 issues printed and the last one was January 2001. There were nearly 300 subscribers besides the ones that were sold in Peever and other towns. The Pilot is full of stories taken from the original Peever Pilot that was published until 1918. There are also news stories of present day happenings and many pictures. The Pilots will cost $1.50 for single copies if mailed. Or a packet of all 29 issues is $15.00 plus the shipping charge.
