JOSEPH STEFFLRE

This Peever Pioneer was, according to the accounts we read of him in the early Peever Pilot, an exceptional man. We have heard the term.."A Go_Getter." Joe Stefflre was certainly a Go Getter . He was not afraid to try something new and he was not afraid of work. If we had a few more like him today, it would be a better community and a better world.

Joe sold lumber and building supplies apparently and he built the house on block 16 that Troy and Sharon Foster own at this time.

In 1909 he was the manager and treasurer of the Murray & Co. business that sold real estate and machinery.
